The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) is an association representing the international technology community. The goal of CompTIA is to provide a united voice, international advocacy and leadership, and to progress industry growth through standards, education and business solutions.
Topics include knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems including techniques for installing, building, configuring, optimizing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance as well as the basics of networking.
Topics include network hardware, connections, software, the OSI Reference model, and different protocols used in local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as specified in the 2009 updates from CompTIA.
If a student is not fully satisfied with the classroom experience they may re-attend an open enrollment class at no cost. See details*
