The ITIL® Framework Provides an Excellent Resource for the IT Industry

The ITIL Service Lifecycle

  4. Service Operation
  5. Continual Service Improvement

Each stage has a unique purpose and role and has a major impact on the success of ITIL within an organization. The Service Lifecycle offers all businesses an opportunity to define a set structure for ITSM that everyone can understand and follow.

The Lifecycle provides avenues to users for establishing guidelines, defining structures, documentation, and procedures so that they can meet current and future business requirements.

ITIL is a unique and popular method that many businesses currently utilize to help manage their IT services. Technology has become such an integral part of most businesses that the need for a method such as ITIL to assist with IT operations has become almost essential for overall business success.
