ITIL® Managing Across the Lifecycle Course – An Overview

Success and achievement business conceptITIL® V3 is the most widely utilized approach to IT Service Management, and in order to truly excel in this field, completion of the ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle course is a must. This course is the final module in the ITIL Intermediate Level and is needed to qualify for the ITIL Expert qualification.  The ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle course is available as a five-day, instructor-led classroom course.

The ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle course provides an in-depth understanding of the knowledge, terminology, skills, and theories that drive ITIL V3.  You will thoroughly study each phase of the Service Lifecycle: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement. You will learn how implementation of the Service Lifecycle can boost the productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of your company and its IT Service Management.  Other topics examined include a full understanding of Service Assessment and Risk Management, an introduction to the various issues facing businesses and managers with a focus on IT Service Management, and a comprehensive look at the planning and implementation of IT Service Management.  This course uses a scenario-based approach to learning. At the end of the Managing Across the Lifecycle course, you’ll be fully capable of applying the principles learned to real-life business situations.

The ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle course is designed for IT managers, practitioners, and other professionals who have interests in the IT sector.  To enroll, you must have seventeen total credits in the ITIL V3 Qualification Scheme – two credits from the ITIL Foundation module and fifteen from additional classes in the ITIL Intermediate Level.
