CPDE: The Practical Side of ITIL®

vip service browser is operated by businessman backgroundOver the years, many frameworks have been developed and adopted to define production standards as well improve services. ITIL®, ISO/IEC 20000, MOF, and CMMI are just some of the frameworks that have been introduced to help organizations achieve quality IT Service Management (ITSM). However, all these frameworks lack a common factor – they do not explain how processes can be designed, re-engineered, and/or improved.

This need was realized; thus, a new qualification in process design was brought forth: the Certified Process Design Engineer (CPDE) Certificate. CPDE is the latest complementary certificate in the ITIL Qualification Scheme.

Though the CPDE Certification is relatively new, its effectiveness has been guaranteed after thorough research was conducted by the experts who developed and tested the qualification. Thus, we know for sure that organizations will soon start searching for the holders of this certificate because it implements everything that ITIL is all about. If you want to have an edge over others, make sure to enroll in the Certified Process Design Engineer training course offered by Ashford Global IT (AGIT).

In just five days, AGIT’s skilled instructors will prepare you for the CPDE Certification exam by guiding you through the certification’s objectives, which are:

To gain knowledge in the following aspects related to ITSM process design:

  • The varying role of IT
  • The significance of ITSM processes
  • The ISO/IEC 20000 standard for ITSM
  • The Value Chain and how it affects processes

  • To learn how to identify and analyze customer requirements

Once you’re done with the Certified Process Design Engineer course, you will be able to ace the certification exam. The exam consists of two sections which must be attempted in 90 minutes. The first part is made up of 10 multiple choice questions which will test your knowledge of CPDE’s terms and definitions. In the second section, you will have to solve 16 multiple choice questions based on complex scenarios. Overall, you need to correctly answer at least 65% of the questions to earn your Certified Process Design Engineer Certificate. However, thanks to Ashford Global IT’s hands-on training and comprehensive lectures, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to pass that exam easily.
