An Overview of the ITIL® Foundation Training Course

The five stages of the Service Lifecycle (Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement) are also examined. In an ITIL Foundation training course at Ashford Global IT, students will participate in lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities as well as answer practice exam questions. All of this is done to reinforce the students’ understanding of the ITIL framework. The ITIL Foundation course will fully prepare students to take and pass the ITIL Foundation Certification exam. This 60-minute exam is comprised of forty multiple choice questions. To pass the exam and be awarded the ITIL Foundation Certificate, students must correctly answer 65% of the exam, or 26 out of 40 questions. The ITIL Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for all other ITIL qualifications.

The ITIL Foundation course should be attended by IT professionals, system and network administrators, service providers, as well as executives and managers who are in-charge of IT service delivery within any organization.
