ITIL® V3 Foundation Course – Virtual Instructor-Led
Today’s business functions need Information Technology (IT) to achieve strategic goals. Organizations are investing in IT services to ensure business goals are met and high-quality services are delivered. There is a need to stay updated and well-informed to grow and compete in this constantly developing business world. ITIL® V3 offers various courses to develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of IT professionals.
Within the ITIL Qualification Scheme, there are various certification levels: ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, ITIL Intermediate Level, ITIL Expert, and ITIL Master. To move to the ITIL Intermediate Level, a student first needs to obtain the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. The ITIL V3 Foundation course provides an introduction to the framework of ITIL. In an effort to reach busy professionals, Ashford Global IT is now offering the ITIL V3 Foundation course as a virtual instructor-led (VIL) training course.
Course Description:
The Virtual Instructor-Led ITIL V3 Foundation course allows you to participate in the class from anywhere in the world – be it your house, your office or anywhere else. All you need is a computer and a reliable Internet connection to participate in these training sessions. Unlike self-paced online courses, virtual instructor-led training sessions are at a set time with a live instructor. The Virtual Instructor-Led ITIL V3 Foundation course is divided into five half-day sessions which are usually held from 1p.m. – 5p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
In a virtual instructor-led class, you will feel as if you are sitting in a traditional classroom environment. You will participate in lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. You will interact with your instructor and classmates through a chat window. You can ask questions or share your opinions. You will receive the same high-quality education as one may experience in any conventional class. A case study approach is used to ensure that you thoroughly grasp the fundamental concepts of the course.
Through this ITIL V3 Foundation class, you will be introduced to ITIL, IT Service Management (ITSM), and the five Service Lifecycle stages: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement. An overview of the various stages is given, and information is presented regarding their key processes, procedures, activities, and implementation. This VIL course will cover the same information and material as the traditional classroom ITIL V3 Foundation training course.
