ITIL® V3 Foundation – Understanding the Framework
Overview
ITIL® V3 Foundation is an entry level course in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 scheme. The ITIL V3 scheme is based on four levels: Foundation, Intermediate, Expert, and Master. The very first level certification course, i.e. ITIL V3 Foundation, covers the basics of ITIL and provides an insight into the processes, standards, terminologies, and concepts of ITIL. This course is a prerequisite for all higher level courses in the ITIL V3 Certification process.

ITIL V3 Foundation Examination
The ITIL V3 Foundation Certification exam tests and assesses the candidate on the basis of how well he or she knows and understands the basic concepts and practices of ITIL. Certification candidates must score at least 65% on the ITIL V3 Foundation Examination, which consists of 40 multiple choice questions.
